My journey in the beauty industry began in 2007 when I made the decision to leave school at just 14 years and 9 months old and step straight into the workforce, commencing a hairdressing apprenticeship.

From a young age, I was eager to start working and building a career for myself. While I didn’t have a strong interest in school or academia, I was drawn to creativity, artistry, connecting with people, and developing a strong work ethic. The salon environment gave me the opportunity to combine all four, and it quickly became clear that the beauty industry was where I belonged.

Over the years, I expanded my skills across multiple areas of the industry, studying hairdressing, makeup artistry, beauty therapy, nail technology, and eyelash extensions. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of becoming an award-winning makeup artist, working with hundreds of clients and continually refining my craft across a range of beauty services.

My passion for business led me to complete a Diploma of Business, while also exploring a career in real estate, gaining valuable insight into property, leasing, and business operations.

In 2021, I founded Chloe Wild Beauté, a boutique lash and brow agency in Prahran. What began as a small business quickly evolved into a thriving brand where I not only serviced clients but also educated aspiring lash artists, employed staff, managed contractors, and built a respected presence within the beauty industry.

Having worked across so many facets of the industry, I understand the realities of running a small business. I’ve experienced the excitement of launching a business from scratch, the challenges of growth, the pressures of managing overheads, and the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people and environment. I know firsthand how valuable it is to work alongside like-minded professionals who are passionate about their craft and committed to building something meaningful.

This experience ultimately inspired the creation of La Collective Co.

I recognised a gap in the market for practitioners who wanted more than just a room to rent. Many business owners are ready to take the next step from working at home, but aren’t yet ready for the commitment and financial pressure of a commercial lease. Others are looking to scale back from a traditional shopfront and focus on what they love most, without the burden of managing large overheads.

La Collective Co was created to bridge that gap.
